Dry Granular Mix
Dry granular mixes are made from a combination of various refractory oxides, including silica-based, alumina-based, magnesia, magnesia-chromite, alumina-chrome, and magnesia-based materials. Depending on the special additives used, they can be classified as chemically bonded or ceramic bonded.
These materials are typically applied using dry vibration or by ramming into place with special forks.
