Silica-Alumina Refractories
These are dense, pressed, and high-temperature fired products containing alumina content between 22% and 46%. They are typically produced using clay-based chamottes with low levels of iron oxide and alkalis. The final physical properties of these refractories depend on the quality of the raw materials, the mixing process, pressing, and firing conditions.
Silica-alumina refractories have diverse applications, including use in the cement and lime industries, steelmaking, aluminum production, and non-ferrous metal industries.
