Polar Route
The Polar Route (Rota Polar) is another thrilling adventure by renowned sailor and extreme experience enthusiast Beto Pandiani.
In a 100-day journey, Beto will sail 3,000 miles across the Arctic Ocean, from Alaska to Greenland, navigating the Northwest Passage—a once permanently frozen stretch of sea that has begun to open in recent years due to climate change.
This marks Beto’s eighth expedition and his second partnership with IBAR. The goal of this journey is to document and capture the impact of climate change on the Arctic through a film and a photography book.
